Welcome to VFD-Loans
We help arrange Low Interest Loans for Volunteer, Combination and Paid Fire Departments Many volunteer, combination and fully paid fire departments need new and reliable replacement apparatus immediately. One way of achieving this is through low interest programs. Low-Interest loan programs, are at rates below commercial loans and are arranged through special financing. In some situations, the lease can be paid with a grant that is obtained later. Many times and in many situations low-interest loans may be obtained through special programs and financing arranged for and guaranteed by your state. Low interest loan programs are different than leases or bond issues and they do not require an attorney opinion or a public vote. This is not to say that it is not possible to use municipal bonds to payoff a loan obligation. Why a Low-interest Loan for Your Apparatus or Equipment May Be Your Best Option:
We also help with tax-exempt leases, which are similar to low interest loans, but are more easier to acquire. Both low interest loans and tax-exempt leases are much easier and often less expensive and difficult options, when compared to bonds.
